Nice job Stabila! The first time I used this laser I wasn’t sure I would like it because even though it is rotating, it is manual leveling. To my surprise, it leveled up very quickly and accurately. The features on this bad boy are great! First of all it has 3 speeds for the rotating mode, this comes in handy when using inside and you want to see the line. But it also comes with a receiver to use on long distances outside. It also has a really cool feature where it will osolate back and forth to draw a line (3 lengths of line too). Stabila has just come out with a new self-leveling rotary laser. I expect they’re going to phase out production of this one. Maybe that’s why the price is so excellent.

Stabila 04100 This is not a fancy device. It is, however, extremely functional and well made. And it is a bargain. The detector alone is worth $100 (street value… others go for $200 on Amazon) and the accessories easily total a value of another $50. So you’re getting an excellent quality, German-made, rotary laser (Stabila proudly refuses to farm out laser production to other countries) for less than $200.
For the money can’t beat it.
Stabila give you what you need in a manual adjusting laser level.
Good package.
Detector is real nice.
