How to dress like a scarecrow again?

Protect your plants from animals and birds

No matter how people try to encourage wildlife to visit and live in their gardens. There will always be opportunities and / or parts of garden to accommodate them. Especially when we are planting young seedlings or harvesting of edible plants is still close to harvest. We need to find a balance between encouraging the wildlife as well as being able to deter other times or from certain particular places. There are four ways to protect crops or crop damage by birds and animals, these methods include fencing, firecrackers and covers spray. Here we will deal with suggestions for the last three of these ideas. Most of these ideas even if they only provide a temporary solution, because in most cases birds or wild animals, first stop being scared finally scared to go back and ignore or circumvent this method future. So it’s an idea to use all ideas for a short period, then switch to a different control system. Firecrackers Firecrackers are usually based on something to catch the vision or hearing wildlife, to frighten them into leaving. Bell firecrackers If you have bells around the bottom, or you can choose some of the lowest prices, and ropes on a length of string on your plants. Plug firecrackers A series of strings of metal and plastic bottle caps between posts driven into the ground outside the protected area. Make sure they can move easily to the slightest breeze or soft. It also helps if some of them can rattle together to add some “noise. Attach all the time so that you can not move, it will cease to migrate to the lowest point of the length of the string. Gourd Rattle scarer Partially fill a few bottles with a fairly light product like rice or dried peas, put enough to make a rattle. Then attach them along the string tied to your young plants. If they touch the animals or the wind will make noise to scare away small creatures. Alcohol Can / Bottle firecrackers Tie the cans and bottles along the string so they can bang together to make a noise if tapped or moved by the wind, to scare small animals or birds. Pinwheel crackers If you have one of those little whirligig have a blade that rotates around in the wind, why not establish your plants scare the birds away until the wind blows. Hawk firecrackers Unless you’re pretty good at art and Woodcraft and can make one, you’ll probably get out of buying a commercially made crackers Hawk and configure it by following the instructions in the package, to frighten the birds. Kites Here, you can go out and buy a cheap kite or children trying to make your own kite. To cover the kite, you can use something old equipment with foil wrapping paper, foil or plastic bags. Even kites made to be a few inches in diameter, can be an effective scarer, hang them to blow in the wind. Tape firecrackers Rip or cut pieces of colored cloth or reflective tape. Attach the wire to protect the plants, leaving enough hanging around flap in the wind, to scare the birds. Scarecrow Try to make a scarecrow, it may or may not be effective in scaring birds, but almost certain to be a piece of landscape art and a point of talking in the neighborhood. silver paper firecrackers Aluminum foil or use wrapping paper or bags (purses chip for example), which is cut into strips for hooking the wire in the barrel region will scare any creature that moves, or appears move in the wind. Or try packing polystyrene balls or ping-pong in the paper and hang them in the area. Water hose / sprinkler scarer Place a garden hose or a high branch of a tree fruit. Or the garden of staking among your young plants. Send a meter above the point of losing the top where you attach. When you notice that the birds down on your plants. Put the tube as hard as you can. On this occasion, the end of the pipe whip around wildly flowing rather a strong current of water. This is usually enough to scare anyone, let alone wildlife. Repeat this several times and birds or wild animals is not worth coming back soon. Wind Chimes firecrackers Why not try to hang wind chimes in the old neighborhood that you want to protect. Wine Cask Bladder scarer Take the tip and use it as a box kite. Or they blow up like balloons. Tinsel firecrackers Use some of your old ornaments, or buy at low prices on some of the after Christmas sales. Leave a large number of products in bulk to allow the outward signs of moving in the breeze. Sails / Flags Material, aluminum or plastic flap in the wind like a sail or a flag may be a scarer effective. Windsock scarer Try your hand at making their own miniature version of a handle to the airport to scare birds and animals Clothesline / dryer scarer If you have the kind of family that has clothes drying on a rack most of the time and place the seedlings in pots around the base line of clothing or put up a clothes dryer near Mobile your delicate plants filling lines with linen garments that tilts around a bit “is also an effective scarer birds and small animals. Plastic Snakes If you have an old plastic snake at the bottom of the window of an old toy, why not try to put it into the plants. Although I’ve never tried it myself method, I heard of others who swear that scarer. Move occasionally. Plush Animal Crackers That the idea of a realistic strategic stuffed dog or cat around young plants. The theory is that birds and small animals have already had experience with cats and dogs in a real desire to avoid any area with them. (This is theoretical suggestion that I have not been tried, but builds on the success of plastic snakes alleged). So if anyone has the chance to try this, let me know the results, please. Dust cover Considering that, putting a lid on or around plants physically stop the animals reach the plants. Glass / hard plastic covers If you have a glass panel or an old window that is used on young plants, lift the plants by using what is available, such as bricks, etc. Milk / yogurt container Covers Cut the top and bottom of cardboard or plastic containers and slip on these seedlings to stop birds and other animals to dig the plant. It allows to bury the bottom of the container slightly. This idea also works well with the equipment to be round or square around the young plants from bottles to drink from small sections of plastic plumbing pipe. But always cut on one side for easy removal once the plants have grown a bit. “ Plastic / Fabric Shade / trapping Covers Make a framework of issues around the plants you want to protect, and during that using a colored cloth / plastic or bird netting cover. shade cloth or plastic can be purchased from the foot / meter in nurseries or hardware stores. Or you can simply run the shade cloth or bird netting directly on the plants / shrubs or small trees, if the plant is strong enough to withstand the weight of the material. Stick and String Covers Whether you are trying to protect a plant pot or a larger area in the garden. Make a framework of sticks or poles around garden plants, and then tie them together loosely by a chain of weaving, cotton, wool or string between the posts / poles. Trellis frame covers Wire Mesh Covers little support “of the light flexible wire, net or plastic mesh over your seedlings of fruiting plants, and support for garden stakes to keep birds away from your plants. Hard Cover Wire Try to support some hard wire mesh over the seedlings to protect them from birds or animals hurt. You can use things like stream of light or panel concrete fence, or anything else, you can access a site. Support from the ground with garden stakes, bricks or bottles of soft drinks of water. Spray The reason for applying a spray is to make the animals think they targeted the plant or fruit is not as tasty as thought he should be. However, it usually takes a little “experimentation to find what works with certain parasites. How have everyone likes and dislikes their own, even within a species. But try to mix the ingredients hot or uncomfortable, but moved to safety to make a diluted spray with water to spray on your plants or fruit trees. Try to avoid spraying the fruit you eat, or how to produce good rinse before eating. Some ingredients you might try to understand, Tabasco Garlic Onions Peppers Etc. The above list of ideas should be sufficient to provide at least a couple of alternatives you can try to combat these voracious creatures that bombard your young charges.
