I just bought the pathfinder for my son, based on the good reviews I’ve read of this item. I have one MAJOR CRITICISM. I made some mistakes putting the wagon together, and I’ve had one heck of a time trying to undo my mistakes!! The way the wagon is put together is with caps you hammer on. Make one mistake with putting the wagon together and you’re going to ruin the wagon trying to undo your mistakes. I’m writing the company to complain. One would think in this day and age of self-assembly, they could have used nuts and bolts to hold the wagon together!

The wagon is fine, but the “seatbelts” are a complete joke and dangerous to boot.
They are installed with cheap, plastic bolts that screw into equally cheap plastic fittings that you punch in to holes in the wagon. The instructions direct you to use a screwdriver, which bends and strips the screws to make them useless.
The straps pop off of the securing mechanism about 10 seconds into the ride. My kids (14 mos. and 3 years–well within the recommended ages for this wagon) were standing up and trying to get out while we were pulling the wagon. They were able to rip the seatbelts out of their fittings without any effort whatsoever.
This is INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS. Kids are designed to stand up in a moving vehicle–it’s in their DNA. A child could very easily fall out of a moving wagon and be injured. You wouldn’t know it’s happening because as the “driver”, your back is to the kids.
DON’T BUY THIS WAGON. IT’S A SAFETY HAZARD.
I love the “how durable is this toy”? question. In this case, it lasted about 10 seconds. Radio Flyer is going to hear from me about this dangerous, unsafe toy.

I bought this wagon specifically because it had seatbelts. They come right off if pulled on. I have twin 1. 5 year olds and they pulled the seatbelts right out of the screws. Yes, they were put on properly. I called Radioflyer and told them about the problem and they sent me new hardware and belts. The new ones did the same thing! DO NOT BUY IF SEATBELTS ARE A PRIORITY TO YOU!

We ordered this wagon for our granddaughters 1st b-day and had it delivered to there house,to our surprise all the wheels, axel and seat belts were missing. Very disappointed as this was 2 days before her b-day and now no present, will be very skeptical in ordering from Amazon again.
